History of LCRA

How It All Began?

Life Care Regeneration Association "LCRA INDIA" was founded in 2006 by just seven members including Mr. Pradeep Singh and Mrs. Lakshmi. Mr. Pradeep Singh and Mrs. Lakshmi had worked before as volunteers, with children with disabilities at a few Special Schools and Rehabs. They began working with already existing organizations such as Prerna, Sukhad Sandhya, Udaan for Disable, Dishayen and many others. They helped in raising funds for children treatment needs and getting them sponsored by benevolent individuals. These children suffered with various mental and physical abilities and needed basic supplies and therapy treatments. Later on, they established a small office in Malviya Nagar and began their operations from there. Eventually they tied up with corporates such as ICRA Ltd, E2 Solutins, Fedders LLoyd, Hanung Toys and Textiles and many others to raise funds for these children.

Finally, in the onset of winters, November 2006, Life Care Regeneration Association “LCRA” was registered as a Non-Government Organization, with the Govt. of NCT of Delhi (Registration No: 57088).

Today we have more than 30 employees working as full and part time staff and around (50) volunteers serving us. We have an expansive facility of 2500sq.ft.in Chhattarpur in 2008 where we run our Rehabilitation Center, Special School, Primary School, Medical Center and Health Education Center. We have our four offices, with our Head Office in Malviya Nagar, our registered office in Bhogal and two branch offices; one in Chattarpur and the other in Palam.
