History of LCRA

Life Care Regeneration Association (LCRA India) was founded in 2006 by a group of seven compassionate individuals, led by Mr. Pradeep Singh and Mrs. Lakshmi, who shared a common vision of serving children and families in need.

Before establishing LCRA, Mr. Pradeep Singh and Mrs. Lakshmi dedicated their time as volunteers at various special schools and rehabilitation centres, working closely with children with physical and intellectual disabilities. Their experiences gave them firsthand insight into the challenges faced by underprivileged families struggling to access medical care, therapy, education, and essential support.

Driven by a deep sense of compassion, they collaborated with several well-known social organizations, including Prerna, Sukhad Sandhya, Udaan for Disabled, Dishayen, and many others. Together, they helped mobilize financial support from generous individuals to provide medical treatment, rehabilitation services, assistive devices, and other essential resources for children with special needs.

As their efforts grew, they established a modest office in Malviya Nagar, New Delhi, laying the foundation for a larger mission. With unwavering dedication, they built partnerships with leading corporate organizations such as ICRA Ltd., E2 Solutions, Fedders Lloyd, Hanung Toys & Textiles, and many others, enabling them to raise greater support for children requiring life-changing medical care and rehabilitation.

What began as a small group of committed volunteers soon evolved into a movement of hope and compassion.

In November 2006, during the onset of winter, Life Care Regeneration Association (LCRA India) was officially registered as a Non-Government Organization with the Government of NCT of Delhi (Registration No. S-57088/2006).

Since then, LCRA has remained steadfast in its mission to serve the underprivileged by providing access to healthcare, education, nutrition, and humanitarian assistance. Over the years, the organization has touched countless lives through the generosity of donors, the commitment of volunteers, and the trust of the communities it serves.

Today, LCRA continues to build on the vision with which it was founded—that no child should be denied healthcare, education, or the opportunity to live with dignity because of financial hardship.
